Lots of talk of movies and plots and characters and screenplays and special fx with others.


Active games.


Silent reading.


Youth group; attend a birthday party.

Speaking of silent reading last night I finished 'Mrs Dalloway' by Virginia Woolf. Fully as annoying as I'd expected (though I was prejudiced at a young age by my love for Wyndham Lewis who said she was a shallow dilettante whose moneyed circle elbowed out real artists). It was quite good writing but she relied too heavily on a single stylistic trick: repetition. Eg talking of a g&t she would say: 'Gin. Gin and tonic. And gin.'
It gets a bit much...
